Reclaimed Scaffold Boards (wire brushed)

Scaffold boards are made of heavy-duty structural timber and are a great, sustainable option for projects of all sizes, giving new life to timber that would otherwise be discarded.

The metal ends are cut off our boards, we then put them through a wire brushing machine that carefully cleans up the wood and enhances the grain, so that it is ready to use and be treated as you need. We offer scaffold boards wire-brushed to one side, or both sides.

Beyond development and construction, used wooden scaffold boards have recently become a popular choice for indoor and outdoor furniture making too. Examples of outdoor projects include benches, flower beds, long lasting decking/decked seating and pergolas. Countless indoor projects can be achieved, such as shelving, work benches and tables.

These boards can be easily transformed from a blank slate into a sleek and modern look for your desired project. You can treat, stain and varnish your scaffolding planks to your liking. These boards have had a previous life, so the surface will be aged, dented and marked, this makes for a characterful finish that is not possible to achieve with new timber.
